House bolsters 'de facto amnesty' probe | TheHill

I have shared w/close friends that if I were Mexican w/pretty much the same personality I have now, I would probably, more than likely be an illegal immigrant. That said I also feel that we are a land of law. This is what makes us 'civilized.' If we, as a nation decide that there are laws we no longer desire to enforce then we can vote to rescind those laws. However, we are obligated to enforce the codified laws (yes I acknowledge codified law is redundant). If you are unsure what a law is google "I am Just a Bill" from School House Rocks. I'll wait for you while you bring yourself up to speed.

It seems more than clear to me that the term and definition of what a leader is has been redefined or neglected. Take your pick. It is one thing for an elected leader of this nation to exercise their 1st amendment right and encourage dialogue on laws they believe should be rescinded either by personal obligation or speaking for their constituency. It is an entirely different issue to not only encourage non-enforcement but to neglect your responsibility, as a department head to direct government employees to NOT enforce the law.  This is now an issue of immorality.

This is fundamentally the concern I have with president Obama, his cabinet, his appointed department heads and handlers next to the issue of competency. These 'leaders' deliberately forsake the law for their own political advantage. This is where political 'strategists' confuse &/or intentionally adopted & incorporated commercial marketing strategies into the political realm.  This 'turn' is wrong because it is here the ethical line is crossed.  To be clear, this is also president Obama's error in regard to his use of executive order awa other's (primarily foreign policy decisions).

Broken down: No like law, legally rescind w/peoples blessings. Until then; enforce, period, your opinion of the law is now irrelevant. end of debate.
